Welcome to Ben Lodge, a self catering A-frame log cabin set amidst the southern highland mountains, facing south over Loch Earn and offering spectacular views throughout the year. Ben Lodge is equipped for all year round use; whether for summer holidays or winter walking. It is double glazed and has electric heating for those chillier times of the year. Accommodation is formed over two floors. The lower floor comprises of a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining room complete with sofa bed, and bunk bedroom which sleeps two people. The upper floor comprises a double bedroom with access to a veranda offering fine views over Loch Earn and the hills beyond, and a shower room. (Please note that the upper floor is accessed by a steep staircase which we feel is unsuitable for those with mobility difficulties, the elderly or the very young). Ben Lodge will sleep a maximum of 6 people; this requires 2 people to sleep on the sofa bed situated in the living/dining room. Externally Ben Lodge is set amidst lawned grounds with mature trees to the west and east sides of the property. There is a decking area at the front of the Lodge, and the rear of the Lodge is overlooked by hills and woodland. Private parking is provided in front of the property. In addition, well behaved pets are welcome on prior arrangement - please check with us first. For those boat owners amongst us the launching and mooring of boats can be arranged. How to Find Us: From Stirling, travel west on the A84 through Doune, Callander and Strathyre. On entering Lochearnhead turn right sign posted Crieff A85. Turn first left onto School Road and follow the road bearing round to the right. After passing the police house there is a turning on the left hand side marked Loch Earn Lodges. Follow this single track roadway directly ahead and then curving up and round to the left. No 4 Ben Lodge is the A frame set on the right hand side.
