years ago as a gamekeeper's cottage for a large estate.
It has recently been renovated and enjoys modern amenities whilst retaining its
original character.

We have three bedrooms, two double rooms and one twin room, all on the first floor.
Two of the bedrooms have views over the river towards the hills, whilst the third
bedroom faces over the garden towards the Pass of Leny.
All rooms have all suite facilities.
Breakfast is served from 0830 until 0900. (or earlier by mutual agreement).
The Surroundings
Kilmahog lies a mile north of Callander at Kilmahog at the mouth of the historic Pass
of Leny, and under the shelter of Ben Ledi.
To one side of the cottage it is the disused railway track which is now a long distance
footpath and cycleway.
To the other side is the River Leny which flows parallel to the old railway track.
A a short distance away salmon may be seen leaping up the falls of Leny.
Deer are frequently seen in the garden, and much wild life may be
observed by the river.
Nearby are some of the most beautiful walks and mountain climbs in Scotland with
magnificent views.
We have private fishing rights in the River, and there is also good fishing in the
