The Bridgend House, a Trossachs Hotel in Callander.
The Location
The Hotel is in the original and oldest part of Callander by the Red Bridge over the river Teith in Bridgend where
there once was a ferry before the original bridge was built after the 1745 Jacobite
rising. Situated beside the River Teith the gardens overlook the Callander meadows and
enjoy magnificent views towards Ben Ledi and the Pass of Leny in the Scottish Highlands.
The Bridgend House Hotel is now under new management, run by David and Liz Hutchby.
The atmosphere in this family run hotel is friendly and informal, there is a wood burning stove with comfortable seating in the cosy and inviting bar area.
There is a large function room available for weddings and events, looking out on to the garden, Callander meadows and the river Teith, towards Ben Ledi and the Trossachs.
