This is Kiltyrie Farmhouse, a Bed & Breakfast with stunning views over Loch Tay.
Located just over 4 miles from Killin, Kiltyrie Farmhouse, built in 1850 boasts access to 8 Munros, all within walking distance, including Ben Lawers - one of the highest mountains in the southern part of the Scottish Highlands. It is also close to the
abandoned village of Old Lawers, famed for its association with the 'Lady of Lawers" and her prophesies.
Kiltyrie Farmhouse,
no longer a working farm, was reopened as a Bed & Breakfast in 2008 after being bought by Jane Watts, former Music Librarian of Scottish Opera.
Her combined love of mountains, walking and the peace and tranquility of Loch Tay brought her to open Kiltyrie Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast, a warm, welcoming and wonderfully Scottish home-from-home.
