This comprises two charming
Victorian semi-detached cottages in the grounds of Leny House. The building is south
facing, tucked away in a
peaceful corner of the estate down a small lane overlooking fields grazing sheep and
cattle.
Heating is by electricity and you
pay for what you use at the end of your visit at the standard rate from the Hydro Board.
The night storage heaters and controllable warm air radiators will ensure you are always
snug in these delightful cottages.

As with all our self catering accommodations, we will be here to welcome you, and show you into the cottage and ensure that everything is in good order for your holiday. There is always help on hand should it be needed, and we are delighted to advise you on what to do and see whether you want to walk, stroll or drive.

Our six
selfcatering lodges (log cabins or chalets) are constructed of solid spruce
with south facing verandas situated on a peaceful site with views towards the Trossachs
and are available for weekly rental throughout the year. Shorter breaks are available
during the period November to March. There is ample parking space and all pathways are lit
at night.
These Scottish log cabins are a graded by the Scottish Tourist Board as 4 Stars and can accommodate up to 4 persons plus 2. The lodges are fully carpeted, heated and double glazed. There are 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin. An extra 2 can be accommodated for a small extra charge on the chesterfield sofa in the sitting room which opens out to a double bed.
There is a bathroom with a shower over and a separate toilet and basin. The living area is open plan with a sitting area with sofa, easy chairs and a colour TV. The dining area has a table and six chairs, the kitchen is all electric with a washer/dryer for clothes, full size cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, plus all the usual kitchen equipment.
All linen, bedding and towels are provided free including kitchen and hand towels. We can supply a cot and high chair no extra cost, but please bring your own cot linen. To ensure your first morning is catered for, we can provide a breakfast pack containing beverages, breakfast cereals, bread, butter, preserves, sugar, milk and 1/2 dozen eggs. If required check the relevant box on the booking form.
Heating is by electricity, it is metered and guests pay for what they use at the end of their visit at the standard Hydro Electric rate.
Views from all the log cabins are wonderful, and we have great walks in the area, both gentle and level along the old railway line, now a well drained walkway, to more challenging upland climbs and lots in between. Visitors can walk, cycle, and pony ride. Callander's leisure centre has a swimming pool, fitness centre, climbing wall, games room for football, net ball and badminton, steam room and sauna, indoor bowls, and outdoors there is tennis and football.
