About usLochearn Guest House B&B is situated in the highlands in the middle of the pretty village of Lochearnhead on the shores of Loch Earn in the newly formed National Park that contains some of the finest scenery in Scotland including Loch Lomond and The Trossachs.
The original house was built in 1780 as a croft and has been sympathetically extended
and modernised until today it offers three double ensuite bedrooms with king size beds and
king size showers.
Video, T.V and Video Hairdryer Hospitality tray in all rooms .
MealsWe provide an evening meal, served in comfortable surroundings and cooked by owner chef Matthew who works with the best from the Scottish larder, salmon, game, Aberdeen angus beef and, of course, our wonderful raspberries!!!! .
We are centrally located for sightseeing being in easy reach of the Trossachs, Oban, St. Andews, the east and west coasts and just over an hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow. There is plenty to do in Lochearnhead as we are surrounded by hills for walking (bag a Munroe of two) and are on the National cycling network.
A watersport centre on Lochearn caters for The waterbabies with skiing and
jetsking. Lochearn is restocked every year
and
boats are available for fishing,
We also have some large estates round us for pheasant shooting and deer stalking.
There is a charming 9-hole golf course at the other side of Loch Earn and all the famous
golf courses are with in reach.
