 Teith is just 65 yards away with riverside walks and waterfowl.
- The local library is two minutes away and visitors tickets provide access to books and
internet.
- The Callander Crags and famous Bracklinn falls areas are just minutes away and
provide an excellent variety of walks in woodland and to the top of the crags.
- The McLaren Leisure centre is just 10 minutes
walk away and has a swimming pool, gymn, bowling, a climbing wall and other activities for
those occasional wet days
- Loch Venachar is about 2 miles away and offers trout and course fishing together with
leisure boating
- Within easy reach of Callander there are several Munros (mountains over 3000 feet) and
many more lesser hills for the walking enthusiasts
- Loch Katrine with its famous steamer 'SS Sir Walter Scott' and smaller excursion boat is
only 20 minutes drive away, or can be reached by the local 'Trossachs Trundler' tourist
bus.
- Callander Golf Club is
a 10 minute walk away in a beautiful setting with a spectacular view to Ben Ledi.
