The terrain in this part of Scotland offers everything from the easiest of gentle rides for the complete novice to the more demanding trekks over some of the moors and mountain slopes. It is often said that the best way to enjoy the scenery is on foot - many who have tried pony trekking in Scotland would disagree!

We have been operating as a Trekking Centre for several years and our experienced staff will ensure that your enjoyment and safety is paramount. We have our own ponies and horses which are personally tended by ourselves. This means we know each animal individually and can suit the horse to the rider.
Our outstanding ponies and horses are experienced in all terrains and all categories of riders. They are good natured and adaptable and will happily cope with all abilities from the total novice to the very experienced rider.
Although we are not a riding school, instruction on riding technique and basic skills is provided.
Rednock Farm Trekking Centre is between Thornhill and Port of Menteith on the road from Stirling to Aberfoyle and is only 10 minutes by car from the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park Gateway town of Callander and 30 minutes from Stirling.

Rednock Farm is in a level rural area near to the Lake of Menteith with rolling hills immediately to the north and the Camsie Hills about 4 miles to the south. We are located on a circular route known as 'The Trossachs Trail'. We have immediate access from the farm to a large variety of rides to suit all capabilities.
You can take your ride at the walk, trot, canter or gallop on hillsides, woodlands, lowlands and splash.
During your ride you may encounter deer, buzzards, Sparrowhawks, Red Kites, Badgers and foxes - and of course 'sheeps and Coos'.
After exhilarating horseback climbs you will see some great landscapes and views:
Where-ever you ride from Rednock farm there is always something worth seeing.
We encourage and assist you to make the most of your riding potential.
We take bookings from individuals, groups and parties and will happily cater for corporate outings and events.
