Riverside House is a recently developed boutique-style guest-house offering the highest standards. Conveniently placed for the village of Callander and travel to nearby towns it also has a feel of being in the countryside. Having parked in our private car park walking and cycling are a must. Bikes are available for your use and secure parking available for your own. Or try a bit of fishing on the River Leny from the banks of the river in the garden.
Our 8-person hot tub, situated in the garden, is available for you to unwind in whilst enjoying views of the river, the Meadows and Ben Ledi. Garden seating is also available for you to relax and enjoy the sound of the river running by.

All our rooms have comfy, king-sized beds, luxury showers, bathrobes and slippers and and are equipped with the latest in flat screen tvs and ipod docking radios and tea and coffee making machines. Wireless internet connection is also available.
Three Double bedrooms are available.
Our sitting room, with cast iron stove, is available for a quiet seat while you enjoy reading or watching tv or the wildlife to be seen from the floor to ceiling windows.
Breakfast, continental or full Scottish, is served in the dining area overlooking our lovely garden and the river.

Callander is a popular tourist stop set amongst magnificent scenery in the Central belt of Scotland in the heart of the Trossachs and the National Park. It is a very handy base for touring by car with Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth all being a convenient drive, train or bus journey away. Visits to Stirling Castle, The Wallace Monument and Edinburgh Castle are a must as is a sail on the Sir Walter Scott steamer on Loch Katrine. The magnificent Falkirk Wheel is just a short drive away as is Loch Lomond.
Cycling and walking are very popular with tracks and paths of varying degrees of difficulty available in the immediate area of Callander.
Shopping and eating in our local towns is also a worthwhile experience with Callander itself offering a fine variety of shops, restaurants and pubs offering evening entertainment. Visits to surrounding villages are a must to enjoy their quaint shops and walks.
A game of golf can be arranged on our own local, picturesque 18-hole course in Callander. River or loch fishing can be arranged locally as can horse riding.
There are many events organised in the surrounding area ranging from sheepdog trials to a mushroom festival.
