Welcome to our Guest House - Almardon

The accommodation lounge and breakfast room is all on the ground floor and so may be particularly helpful for anyone who has trouible with stairs.

Almardon is close to all amenities and adjacent to the cycle track/footpath which is an easy level route through wonderful scenery all the way to Glen Dochart by rivers and lochs. The meadows riverside park which has lovely walks along by the River Teith is just a short distance away, is a favourite with families and has a childrens' area and waterfowl to feed. The access to the Callander Crags footpath is about 400 yards away on the opposite side of the road and leads to walks in woodlands and to the elevated Crags viewpoint for the more energetic.

We pride ourselves on our hospitality and have a selection of double and twin rooms (all ensuite) with refreshment tray, iron, hairdryer and television. The residents lounge is available at all times and we have ample parking within our own grounds.

We offer continental and full Scottish breakfasts; both of which are renowned among our regular guests.

A range of restaurants for other meals are situated within walking distance.

Callander is centrally situated within the Trossachs National Park area and is an ideal base for walking, cycling or for taking daily car journeys to Glasgow, Edinburgh or north towards Oban and the Highlands .
