Welcome to Almardon Self Catering in Callander

Newly converted from our former B&B Almardon Self Catering it now consists of three ensuite Bedrooms, a large modern kitchen with a full size dining table and a comfortable lounge with a 2nd dining area.

Almardon is located in a peaceful location in Callander which is part of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. It is only a 3 minute walk from the centre of Callander , with its wide range of pubs, restaurants and shops.

Furnished to an exceptionally high standard, the self contained property sleeps 6, providing quality and comfort in 1 twin bedroom and 2 double rooms with king size beds. Our shower rooms all have new showers. All the bedrooms have excellent storage space with peaceful views such as overlooking the river, ensuring a peaceful nights sleep.

The lounge is extremely comfortable and spacious. stunningly presented with a new flat screen colour TV and DVD player.

A fully equipped kitchen includes dishwasher, fridge & washing machine with both indoor & outdoor drying facilities.

Towels, linen and a welcome pack are included as standard. Callander also has a Co-Op & Tesco both are which are open 7 days a week till 10pm each evening.

Activities

Activities available locally include fishing, golfing, walking, cycling, water sports, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting and much more.

Golf enthusiasts have the nearby Callander 18 hole golf course, and within a 15 minute drive is the challenging Aberfoyle 18 hole golf course. For true golf enthusiasts we are within 45 minutes of the championship standard Loch Lomond Golf Course . Many more golf courses are within a short drive.

Nearby lochs include Loch Venachar, Loch Achray, Loch Katrine and Scotland's only Lake, the Lake of Menteith with the historic Inchmaholme Prior. Within 15 minutes drive is Loch Ard between Aberfoyle and Kinlochard.

Transport links by car or bus we are only 30 minutes from Stirling, 50 minutes from Glasgow and 90 minutes from Scotland's capital city Edinburgh where you will find a diverse range of attractions, activities & excellent retail therapy!

Alamardon is an excellent base allowing you to explore further afield; Callander is a well known town, conveniently located to visit all parts of Scotland.

Arrive Saturday 4pm onwards.
Depart 10am following Saturday.

Almardon Self Catering Rates

Our rates have deliberately been kept reasonable and great value..  We only have two weekly rates;  high and low season.  Heating and electricity costs are all included.

• Low Season :  £300.00 to £400.00 per week
• High Season:  £450.00 to £550.00 per week.

Short breaks are available in Low Season from £180.00 (minimum stay 3 nights)

Almardon sleeps a maximum of 6 persons.

Dogs are welcome
Almardon welcomes a well behaved dog by special arrangement. Please phone or email Margaret (prior to booking your stay for Almardons conditions) on bringing dogs eg reimbursing for any damage caused by pets, bringing dogs own bedding, dogs cannot be left alone in the property.
