Self Catering Holiday in Callander at Ashwood House

This purpose designed holiday flat offers self catering accommodation in Callander, Scotland.

Walkers are welcome and we can provide guided walks by arrangement.

For two to four people it comprises:

• One bedroom
• Large Lounge with two single fold-down beds
• Kitchen
• Patio doors to the balcony where alfresco meals and refreshments may be enjoyed.
• Own main door entrance
• Off road parking space next to the apartment

The situation is wonderfully peaceful and has a balcony with views down the 18th fairway on the adjoining Callander golf club, itself noted as one of the most scenic golf courses in Scotland.

The property is just off Bracklinn road which leads to the famous Bracklinn falls once visited by Queen Victoria. The walks on Callander Crags and further afield start within about 300 m of Aveland road.

A short walk of about two minutes takes the visitor to Callander main Street. Callander is at the east side of the newly created Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park and has all the facilities and attractions which might be expected of such a popular little tourist town. A walk down the main street which is awash with shops, intimate restaurants, woollen mills and curiosity shops will reveal the unique an friendly atmosphere in this lovely little town situated under the slopes of Ben Ledi - the most southerly highland 'Ben'.

To Find Us

From Stirling direction, 1 mile after the 30 speed limit, watch for the pink house on the left, turn right into Bracklinn Rd, over the old railway bridge, next on right, Aveland Rd then right into Aveland Park Road where we are the white house on the corner.

From the north, drive through Callander, passing the Rob Roy visitor centre on the left, pass the Co-operative grocery on the right then watch for the small post office on the left. Turn left into Bracklinn Rd, over the old railway bridge, next on right, Aveland Rd then right into Aveland Park Road where we are the white house on the corner.
