Situated in the beautiful Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Balvag House, Strathyre, offers a home from home amidst the breathtaking scenery of the Scottish Highlands.

Balvag House can sleep 8 comfortably and up to 11 cosily.

The house has four bedrooms which are comprised of two twin rooms (one with a third pull-out bed), one double room (with two further single beds in an annexe, and an en suite bathroom), and downstairs, a pair of bunk beds, and two bathrooms with WC.

The grounds extend to fifteen acres, bordered on one side by half a kilometre of the tranquil river Balvag, and on the other by Sustrans cycle route 7, offering miles of quiet and off-road cycling to the north and south.

Strathyre is deep in the Highlands, yet Glasgow and Edinburgh are just over an hour away, providing an excellent base for touring rural and urban destinations.

There are plenty of opportunities nearby for walking, fishing, cycling, sailing, birdwatching, canoeing, eating, and enjoying a range of days out.
