This delightfully situated cottage is set in the quiet hamlet of Brig O Turk in the heart of the Trossachs. It is a modern cottage built in traditional style. The property is finished to a high standard and exceptionally spacious with a large garden. The area is a National Park and can be reached in 1 hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow but is definitely very rural with fantastic scenery. The cottage can accommodate 6 adults although is suited to families of 4-6.
The surroundings
The village has a friendly pub (1/4 mile), tearoom, and village hall. The nearest town, Callander is 7 miles away and has all facilities. The area offers excellent walking and cycling straight from the door(road, mountain and trail), golf, sailing and other outdoor pursuits as well as local visitor attractions including heritage centres, distilleries and boat trips. Cycle hire is available locally.
The C7 cycleway passes just half a mile away and provides a pleasant walk or cycle ride to Callander passing through woods beside Loch Venachar with marvelous views to the mountains. The road to GlenFinglas passes the cottage and provides easy access to high level walks and cycle routes above the Loch in the glen. The path to the 1500 foot Ben A'an with its views over Loch Katrine to the Arrochar Alps is only 1.5 miles away and the Trossachs Pier and steamship at Loch Katrine only 2.5 miles.

Access: There are two steps into the cottage but ramps are available for wheelchairs and the accommodation is on one level.

Bethany Cottage is at the heart of the village of Brig o' Turk, a little way up the GlenFinglas road and on the right.
