 A warm welcome awaits all who visit The Byre. Set in a stunning rural location, we offer the best of what a village inn provides - quality food and drink, served by friendly staff in a relaxing atmosphere.
The characterful 'Byre Inn' is
set in Millais Country in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National
Park midway between Loch Venachar and Loch Achray and close to Glen Finglas. It is also just a short drive
from Loch Katrine with its famous steamer the SS Sir Walter Scott. The Byre Inn is very convenient for Glen Finglas - the ancient hunting ground of the Stewart kings of Scotland. GlenFinglas is wonderful walking and cycling country with abundant wildlife and photo opportunities.

- We have ample parking space for cars, bicycles ( and dogs! )
- We offer a courtesy minibus service for parties of 6 or more wishing to eat or drink at The Byre
- Business lunch and office parties are welcome
- Our carpark is available for the use of walkers, cyclists etc. who intend have a drink or a meal with us after their outing.
- We have full disabled access and toilets.
The Restaurant is open for: coffee, lunch, snacks and
dinner featuring local trout, beef, lamb and game.

We have a large selection of malt whiskies and real ale
which may be enjoyed in comfort - in the cosy bar (seating for 24) with its traditional
timbers and log fire on those cool days, or outside in the beer garden when the warm
weather beckons.

The 32 seater restaurant is available for small parties (up to 32).
For weddings and Christenings this is a popular venue due to its proximity
to the delightful Trossachs church which, in its romantic setting overlooking loch Achray,
is ideal for these occasions.
  
  
The Church is only minutes away by car.
 
The Inn is also popular for, and well known by rambling and cycling groups
with soups, sandwiches, coffees and scones always available. . . Small coach parties can be accepted with prior notice.

From the A84 heading north through Callander, continue half a mile to Kilmahog. Turn
left at Kilmahog then follow this scenic drive for 6 miles, passing Loch Venachar on the
left.
Entering Brig o' Turk, follow the road down the hill, past the road on the right which
leads to Glenfinglas then watch for the sign to the Byre Inn on your left.
Drive up to the car park and the Byre Inn is opposite.
