wpe27.jpg (11919 bytes)The Baronial Dining Room, with its grand fireplace, provides the perfect setting in which to enjoy a meal. We use all fresh produce, much of which is grown specifically for us in local small-holdings.
In sole charge of the kitchen, Gordon creates variations on classical French cooking with strong Scottish overtones.

Good food should always be complemented by good wine: we hope our extensive carefully chosen wine list provides something for all tastes.

Our dining room is also ideal for special occasions and private dinner parties throughout the year. Birthday, Wedding, Conference, Family-get-together, or winter break?

We are happy to reserve the entire hotel for your private party.
Maximum number catered for is 35

A gem of comfort and fine food, with an emphasis on freshly prepared local produce cooked in an interesting and innovative style. The high vaulted dining room, with its grand open fireplace, is the only restaurant with rooms in Scotland to be awarded two A.A. rosettes and a Michelin "Bib Gourmand". Also listed in The Good Food Guide 2004. Our extensive and very interesting wine list should enable you to find something for every occasion.
