Easter Tarr Farmhouse is situated in beautiful countryside just 12 miles to the west of
the ancient capital of Scotland, Stirling. We are 3 miles from Scotlands first National
Park which encompasses the Trossachs and Loch Lomond areas.Stirling has excellent shopping
centres and entertainment. We are 40 mins from Glasgow, 25mins from Loch Lomond,45 mins
from Edinburgh ,50 mins from Perth and just 15min from Stirling.
All rooms are en-suite , Tea /coffee making facilities, T.V. in all rooms, Hair drier,
Central heating, Iron and board, Garden, Residents lounge. Easter Tarr is 3 STAR RATED
with the Scottish Tourist Board.
There is also a comfortable residents lounge and a public telephone.
We offer a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere to our guests.
All rooms are comfortably furnished and have beautiful views over the gardens and open
countryside.
"The Tarr", as our house is nicknamed locally, was built in 1825 and we are
only the third family to live here in over a hundred years. "The Tarr" stands
two miles west of the village of Thornhill, which has celebrated its 300th anniversary and
is located in a popular destination for tourists from all over the world. Many of our
guests take their evening meals in one of the hotels or restaurants in Thornhill or in
Callander, which is also not far away.
