One mile north of Callander by the historic hamlet of Kilmahog, 'Greenshadows' is a beautiful cottage arrangement set right next to the salmon rich, glorious River Leny, deep in the heart of the Leny Pass. The spacious accommodation on ground and first floors is for up to 6 persons. It has two bedrooms and a large sitting room with a sofa bed. A fully fitted modern kitchen caters for all of your daily needs. TV, washing machine, dishwasher provided. With its own parking and access you can come and go as you please and enjoy the beautiful riverside garden. The property is family friendly and has all facilities for young children. Callander is just a fifteen minute walk away with its local pub and restaurant. Local stores in Callander provide very adequate grocery shopping.
Activities Being very centrally located in Scotland, this is a splendid base for visiting most of the famous tourist attractions. Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth are all within an hours drive, and if you want to take a break from driving, you can leave the car at Stirling and take the train. The Callander to Glendochart cycleway is easily accessed at Kilmahog, and the footpath for Ben Ledi can be accessed from the cycleway, or by a short drive through the Pass of Leny where you may also visit the spectacular Falls of Leny. Loch Lubnaig is just beyond the pass of Leny. Ben A'an, Ben Venue, Loch Katrine and the 100 year old steamship Sir Walter Scott are just 15 minutes drive away
