We are able to offer a large range of walking equipment and expert advice as to what is likely to best meet your individual requirements.
Whether you are an experienced hill walker or a beginner the whole area around Killin is a walkers paradise with walks for all abilities.
Just 6 miles from Killin is Ben Lawers, one of Scotland's highest mountains at just under 4000 feet. There are several approaches to Ben Lawers including the 'easy option' from the Ben Lawers car park which gives you a head start at 1400 feet on a well trodden 'safe' mountain track.
The Tarmachan Ridge which overlooks Killin can be tackled from the same point and the views from the top over Loch Tay and over to Glen Lyon are magnificent.
For the experienced mountaineer there are numerous other 'Munros' within a twenty mile radius of Killin, but you should be a seasoned hill walker and well equipped with map, compass and good local weather information before tackling any of these.
On the lower slopes, the glens and in the forests there are a selection of less demanding walks, of varying lengths, in Glen Dochart, Glen Lochay and Glen Lyon, or around the head of Loch Tay.
