Rhuveag sits on the North shore of Loch Voil in an area or outstanding beauty. It sits overlooking the mountains and Loch in the Breadalbane area of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

As you travel fom the A84 junction at the Kings House hotel to Inverlochlarig the area boasts magnificent scenery, you will pass the McGregor Murray Mausoleum before arriving at the village of Balquhidder where the local kirk is the resting place of Rob Roy McGregor who died in 1734. He lies with his wife and two of their sons beside him. The Village Hall sits opposite the Library Tea Room where you will see the start of the Lochs. Travelling west of the village along the North shore of Loch Voil you will see Rhuveag with Loch Doine beyond.

The city of Stirling has much to offer the visitor, The Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle and Jail are just a few visitor attractions in the area.
