History in Scotland. The Trossachs

Scotlands history, and especially that of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs is steeped in centuries of tradition and Legend. The history, the legend and the stories of Rob Roy Macgregor and those like him will always fire the imagination. The history of the Trossachs and Callander is entwined in many of the major events which created the Scotland you see today with all of it's stories and traditions.

In this section I hope to give you just an inkling of the fascinating history of this wonderful area.
