Westerton is located at the quiet west end of Callander, within a five minute stroll of the town centre with its many shops, restaurants and bars, but with immediate access to walking and cycling tracks.
To the rear of Westerton are the Callander Crags, an enchanting wooded hill with many interesting walks.
The steep ascent is worth the effort as on a clear day you can see Edinburgh in the distance. An excellent Cycleway and walking track crosses the River Leny at the bottom of the garden aand stretches past the Falls of Leny, Loch Lubnaig and onto Strathyre(approx 7 miles) , for the energetic it continues for a further 6 miles onto Balquidder.
Westerton is an ideal base for a hillwalking holiday.
Ben Ledi, Ben A'an, Ben Gullipen, Ben Venue, Ben Vorlich and Stuc a Chroin are all within a 30 minute drive. Further afield are Ben Lomond, Ben Lawers and spectacular Glencoe, but all within an hours drive.

There are many memorable scenic routes to explore by car, particularly the Dukes Pass drive through the Trossachs aand routes passsing Loch Lubnaig,Loch Venachar, Loch Voil, Loch Earn, Loch Katrine, Loch Lomond and Scotlands only lake, The Lake of Menteith.
Westerton has immediate access onto the A84 and travelling east the historic city of Stirling is within a 20 minute drive, Edinburgh can be reached with one hour. Travel west and visit the seaside resort of Oban, "Gateway to The Isles".
Westerton has ample off-road private parking with secure storage available for bicycles and motorcycles.
Golf, pony trecking and fishing are also available in the locality.
Westerton is a non-smoking establishment.

From
Stirling, take the A84 (Callander and Crianlarich), pass through Doune and enter
Callander. Continue through Callander and pass the Dreadnought hotel on the right.
Continue along Leny Road, past the pedestrian crossing lights and watch for Westerton and
our sign on the left shortly thereafter.
From the north, enter Callander on the A84 and opposite the second road on your left, look for our sign on the right.
