Throughout the year there are events & entertainment in many of the hotels, pubs and restaurants in Callander and the Trossachs. In the  visitor season, many 'special' events are added to attractions for summer visitors.

BALQUHIDDER SUMMER MUSIC 2008 SEASON
This is a series of seven classical music concerts held in Balquhidder Church in the beautiful surroundings of the Braes o' Balquhidder. The series is now in its 23nd year. The concerts are by professional musicians, and are held on Sunday evenings at 7pm.
Tickets are £7, with £6 concessions and children under 15 free. Season tickets available from the Balquhidder Summer Music Office, Tulloch Lodge, Balquhidder FK19 8PQ. Phone 01877 384338. Season tickets cost £20 for 4 concerts, or £30 for 7 concerts.
There are plenty of tickets also available at the door. Car parking around the church is easy.


 

Callander Farmers’ Market.

Station Road car park Callander is the place to shop for fresh summer produce on Sunday 1st June from 11am to 4pm. The Farmers’ Market will be offering a delicious range of goodies from home baking, breads, free range eggs, local beef, mutton and lamb, pork, bacon, venison and game, natural fruit drinks, jams, cheese and oatcakes, shellfish with fresh and smoked fish, local crafts and plants for sale.
Why not help reduce food miles and generate sustainable rural employment by supporting this community initiative, run by Stirling Farmers’ Market group on behalf of Callander Development Trust.
The market is recognised for the wide selection of good quality and tempting produce on offer. You deserve to eat well so come along and shop on Sunday the 1st June and make the market a thriving success.
